About Prism Organizing

Together we can make a difference.

Prism Organizing is a statewide movement committed to building power for LGBTQIA2S+ equality by developing leaders and organizing communities across Minnesota. We collaborate across queer and trans community groups, spiritual traditions, and justice movements to build power for LGBTQIA2S+ thriving, so everyone can live with safety, dignity, and freedom.

How Do We Work?

In an era when LGBTQIA2S+ rights are under increasing attack, we organize Minnesota leaders and communities for bold, strategic action. Connecting advocates and communities across place, race, and faith, Prism Organizing builds capacity to influence policy, shape culture, and create a more inclusive future. We are grounded in the principles of grassroots organizing, emphasizing the need to align people and money to build community power and achieve systemic change.

Through collective action, storytelling, leadership
development, and advocacy, we strengthen local
communities and challenge harmful policies while advancing a vision of belonging and dignity for all.

Our Goal

Aligned with other organizing movements for justice, we build a future where every voice matters, every community is valued, and every person has the freedom to thrive. Prism Organizing is creating a Minnesota where LGBTQIA2S+ people experience safety, dignity and freedom.
